We held up in Snyder today April 1st at the Western Texas College Coliseum because I had to file my income taxes, funny how life creeps in even on the trail! And we also found a vet here who is able to update Durango's health certificate which was going to expire next week. We thought it was better to take care of it now while we were in a bigger town. Thunderstorms were predicted tonight too and since we may not have a pen outside of Snyder the next few nights we thought it best to stay the night in a covered pen. We will head out again early tomorrow morning toward Post, Texas on 84 north.
